Residents living in properties within the District who feel they may like the extra protection of sandbags to protect their properties against prolonged heavy rain can obtain sandbags over the weekend at the following locations: Recycling Centre, North Street, Lewes District Council Elderly or vulnerable residents are asked to seek the assistance of neighbours or friends to collect sandbags on their behalf.
