It truly is a creative jewel in the UK and each year Lewes District Council celebrates this wealth of talent by hosting an annual visual arts festival ‘Artwave’. Now in its’ 15th year we are proud and excited by the Artwave 2008 agenda! We have gone behind the scenes to meet some of the participants and give you a sneak preview of what is emerging this year – don’t be fooled into thinking that Artwave is purely for the traditionalist though, there is no fixed criteria so be prepared for some very original material!!!

As well as fine art we also have a debut exhibition in Seaford by the cutting edge ‘Urban Scavenger’ a.k.a. Joe Hall a metal furniture maker and sculptor who really does makes sparks fly, meet him and his creations at his workshop.
