20 November 2008: Street consultation for residents of Chyngton, Seaford

Lewes District Council and Sussex Police are inviting residents of Chyngton, Seaford to a “Street Consultation” session on Thursday 27th November 2008 from 6pm till 7pm.

The meeting will be held at Walmer Road Recreation Ground, Seaford.  This will provide an opportunity for local residents to let us know how they feel about crime and anti-social behaviour around their local area. Representatives from Lewes District Council and Sussex Police will be available to explain the work the police and the local action team are involved in, including youth activities and community development.

The meeting will generate actions for your local police team and Lewes District Council. The Police and Lewes District Council staff will be at Walmer Road Rec for about an hour, however, they will stay as long as it is necessary to listen to, and understand the issues that local residents want to raise.

The meeting will also give you the opportunity to find out how people can help contribute towards making the neighbourhood safer.

This is an opportunity for local people to influence what happens in the area where they live.
