Children from Peacehaven Infants School enjoyed creating art from junk material in a special workshop this week. Their colourful creations will be used to inspire others to help tackle climate change. The works of art will decorate the Waste Zone marquee at the forthcoming 'Isn't It Bonkers' event in Peacehaven on Saturday 20th September.

This exciting event is at the Dell on the South Coast Road from 10am - 4pm and promises to be a fun day out for all the family. It is also a great opportunity to learn more about living sustainably, fighting climate change and saving money too.

Admission is free and you will be able to sample a choice of local food and drink whilst enjoying:

• Street dance
• Music and theatre
• Solar car grand prix
• Cooking demos
• Seed swapping
• Workshops
• Films, arts and crafts, displays
• Energy and money saving advice

"Isn't it Bonkers!" is a collaboration between Lewes District Council, REGEN (Regeneration Peacehaven and Telscombe), Oxfam, Developing Communities project, Common Cause, East Sussex County Council and Peacehaven Town Council.
