The meeting will be held inside the Meridian Centre opposite the Town Council. The Police, Lewes District Council and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services representatives will be in the Meridian Centre for about an hour but will stay as long as it is necessary to listen to and understand the issues residents want to raise. The meeting will give local people the opportunity to find out how they can help contribute towards making their neighbourhood safer. Residents who cannot come along to the street consultation are encouraged to speak to a neighbour and ask them to come along and raise the issues on their behalf. Lewes District Council has an Anti-social Behaviour Co-ordinator, Louisa Young who covers the whole district. She can be contacted on 01273 484394. More information about the Lewes District Crime Reduction Partnership can be found by visiting www.lewes.gov.uk or contacting Carina Hinkley on 01273 484336.
