16 September 2008: ‘Street Consultation’ at the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven

Lewes District Council, Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services are inviting residents of Peacehaven to a ‘Street Consultation’ session on Friday 26th September 2008 from 11am – 12pm.

The meeting will be held inside the Meridian Centre opposite the Town Council.
This will provide an opportunity for local residents to let us know how they feel about crime and anti-social behaviour in and around Peacehaven. Representatives from Lewes District Council, Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services will be available to explain the work the police and the local action team are involved in including youth activities and community development.

The Police, Lewes District Council and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services representatives will be in the Meridian Centre for about an hour but will stay as long as it is necessary to listen to and understand the issues residents want to raise.

The meeting will give local people the opportunity to find out how they can help contribute towards making their neighbourhood safer. Residents who cannot come along to the street consultation are encouraged to speak to a neighbour and ask them to come along and raise the issues on their behalf.
