Grants for voluntary and community organisations

Grants are generally limited to organisations which have among their primary objectives the improvement and enhancement of local community services including social and recreational facilities open to the public. The Council will typically make a grant of up to 25% (with a ceiling of £3,750) of the cost of a project which is of a 'capital' nature, e.g. the refurbishment or improvement of a building, playground etc. Grants are not available to support the running costs of organisations.
