Game Licence

Game Act 1831 and Game Licence Act 1860

To apply for this licence or for relevant advice from a Licensing Officer, please contact the Environmental Health Department.

There is no fee charged for this licence, and on receipt of the completed application form it will be passed to an Environmental Health Officer for their recommendation. Once approved the licence will be sent, along with a copy of the conditions.  These must be adhered to at all times.

Licences are renewable annually on 1st July and a letter and renewal form will be sent prior to expiry.

Please note, in addition to a licence to deal in game from your Local Authority you should also apply for an excise licence at your local Post Office
